Safeguarding 2025

Roundswell Church has updated its Safeguarding Policy and Procedures in June 2025.  

The safeguarding policy, procedures and best practice has been informed by the Baptist Union of Great Britain templates and best practice guidelines last updated in January 2023. The document is divided into four sections: 

1. Safeguarding Policy Statement – Our Vision, responsibilities and key contacts at Roundswell Church

2. Safeguarding Procedures – these sections provide a clear outline of the reporting procedures

3. Best Practice Guidelines – these guidelines provide detailed information on key areas of safeguarding in the life the church
